Jordanian anti-narcotics forces have arrested a woman accused of planting a narcotic substance in her husband's possession with the intent to harm him, in coordination with two other individuals who were also apprehended. According to a Jordanian security source, information was received about a man who possessed narcotic substances in his home. The authorities moved to the residence, and upon searching it, a small quantity of narcotics for personal use was found. The man, who was the subject of the information, was arrested and taken in for questioning. The source added, according to Jordanian media, that through the investigation it became clear that the man in question was a drug user, but the narcotics found in his home did not belong to him. Expanding the investigation revealed that his wife was the one who planted the narcotic substances for him, with the intent to harm him in coordination with two individuals she knew, following disputes with her husband. All three were arrested and referred to the prosecutor of the State Security Court, who decided to remand them in custody pending the case.
