Early Wednesday morning, Jordan's official news agency (Petra) reported that during a major security operation in the northern city of Ramtha, an exchange of fire took place. Two wanted individuals, whom the authorities described as "outlaws carrying a takfiri ideology," were killed. According to security forces, a special unit stormed a house on Tuesday night where two brothers sought for their ties to terrorist groups were hiding. Upon the unit's arrival, the suspects opened intense fire, injuring three security personnel. The authorities stated that the operation was conducted as part of investigations into "important cases."
