Jordan's King Abdullah II affirmed on Saturday that the country will take necessary steps to protect its citizens and safeguard its sovereignty after two ballistic rockets fell on its territory. A statement from the Royal Court said that during a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, the king condemned "the aggression against Jordanian territory", stressing that "the Kingdom will continue to take all necessary steps to maintain the safety of its citizens and protect its security and sovereignty".
