The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, discussed with the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, in Damascus issues related to the bilateral relations between the two countries. Within the framework of the visit, the prospects for developing cooperation in various areas were discussed.
Particular attention was given to stability and security in the region. Minister Safadi emphasized the importance of addressing the Syrian crisis and assisting refugees. Issues related to the fight against terrorism and extremism were also touched upon.
During the meeting, the readiness of the countries to continue dialogue and cooperation aimed at achieving stability and progress in the region was confirmed. Ayman Safadi expressed hope for the success of the peace process in Syria and underscored Jordan's readiness to support efforts in this direction.
