The top two teams in the Jordanian League, Al-Wehdat and Al-Ramtha, suffered surprising defeats in the 18th round. Al-Ramtha lost 0-1 to Al-Salt, marking their second consecutive loss in the league. This defeat led to the dismissal of their coach Milan Radovic, with Jordanian Rami Samara taking temporary charge. Simultaneously, Al-Baqa dealt a heavy blow to Al-Wehdat with a 3-1 victory. This new setback leaves Al-Wehdat in fourth place with 33 points. Meanwhile, Al-Baqa's victory lifted them to third place with 34 points, five points behind the leaders Al-Faisaly.
