During the meeting in the emiriate of the ministers of foreign affairs of neighboring countries with Syria, they expressed concern about the situation in the region. This took place at the end of the meeting, which was held on Sunday.
They emphasized the need for a political solution to the Syrian conflict, and also expressed readiness to support the process of negotiations and normalization.
"We call for dialogue based on resolution 2254 of the UN, and we are ready to support the efforts of the UN special envoy for Syria," the ministers noted in their statement.
