The club's management stated that the closure decision was sudden in its timing and caused concern due to the difficulties it poses in holding the team's home matches during the closure period. The club's management sent an official letter to the ministry and the federation regarding the decision to close Prince Hassan Stadium in the northern governorate of Irbid for 3 months, aiming to rehabilitate its pitch and carry out maintenance work. It added that Prince Hussein Stadium is the official and approved one for Ramtha, and there is no other stadium in Amman that could host its matches. Ramtha protested against the decision of the Jordanian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Jordanian Football Association to close its stadium and move its matches, while at the same time announcing the termination of its contract with the Nigerian professional Robert Odo by mutual consent.
