Today, Tuesday, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Captain Zayfallah Al-Frajat, announced the full reopening of Jordanian airspace to all civil aviation traffic (arriving, departing, and transiting) and the lifting of the partial closure that had been in effect since Monday evening. This decision follows a meticulous review and comprehensive assessment of the operational and security situation amid current regional developments, according to Jordan's News Agency (Petra). Al-Frajat affirmed that the decision to reopen airspace was made after an in-depth risk assessment in coordination with all relevant authorities, emphasizing that it fully aligns with the highest international standards for civil aviation safety and security.
